Watch Features - Casio Pathfinder Watches
Atomic Timekeeping
Get split second accuracy with the Pathfinder’s atomic timekeeping. Each day the watch receives a radio signal from the atomic transmitter in Fort Collins, Colorado. That signal resets the watch to the split second. It also automatically adjusts to Daylight Savings Time and Leap Year changes.

Tough Solar
You’ll never have to change your battery again with Pathfinder’s solar technology. The battery is automatically charged by light, either direct from the sun or from light sources inside. And it keeps that charge for the life of the watch.
Light enters the watch through the sapphire crystal and dial, and hits a solar cell beneath the dial. Current is created and stored in the battery. The Pathfinder watch will continue to run under normal lighting conditions.

Thermometer
A built-in thermometer displays and checks the temperature every 5 minutes. The display can be converted from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Temperature ranges are from -10 to 60ºC (14 to 140ºF).

Compass
For peace of mind, just point the Pathfinder to a 12 o’clock position, push the button and you can take readings in one of 16 directions. North, South, East and West are indicated simultaneously. You can even record up to five compass readings including the date and time.

Depth Gauge
Use the Sea Pathfinder’s depth gauge to measure and record ranges from 0 to 80 meters (0 to 263 ft.). You can change from meters to feet easily. The watch uses a system-specific nitrogen loading graph.

Tide Graph
Use the Sea Pathfinder’s tide graph to plan your fishing trip. The graph tracks the rise and fall of the tides and clearly displays them in a graphic format.

Diving Log
Capture all the details of your next dive using the Sea Pathfinder’s diving log. The timer automatically measures water pressure and temperature, and memorizes log data. You can track your dive month and date, dive number, dive start and end time, total dive time, maximum depth, average depth and water temperature. At the end of each dive get an interval system-specific nitrogen loading graph. You can also track the maximum depth during each dive minute and record a surface interval measurement.

Altimeter
Use the Pathfinder’s altimeter to help gauge the time you’ll need to reach the summit! The altimeter checks and displays the altitude every two minutes, and stores readings with the temperature every 15 minutes. The graphing function positions you with respect to your target altitude, while alarm alerts you as you approach your mark.
You can record up to 40 sets of data with each record displaying the altitude, month, date and time. The measuring range is from -700 to 10,000 meters (-2,300 to 32,800 ft.).

Auto EL
You’ll always be able to read your Pathfinder display … even in total darkness. Two high intensity light emitting diodes (LEDs) make the face of the Pathfinder exceptionally bright.
The watch also includes an auto light. So when you tilt the Pathfinder toward your face, the LEDs automatically light up for night time viewing.

Barometer
Predict changing weather patterns using the Pathfinder’s barometer. It takes readings every two hours and stores them automatically. It graphically displays the barometric pressure for the past 26 hours. The display ranges from 260 to 1,100 hPa/mb (7.65 to 32.45 inHg) with changeovers from hPa to inHg.
